Customer service is the reason for the continued success of the Market House.  Our store has one simple goal—to provide the customer with the best of everything.  Other goals of the Market House include: providing friendly, courteous service; a safe, clean, wholesome atmosphere in which to shop; fair and honest treatment in all customer transactions; competent, polite, well-groomed personnel; truth in our advertising program; quality and freshness of all perishable products; and guaranteed satisfaction of every purchase.

           Courtesy and Service
          One of the primary goals of the Market House is to provide a friendly, courteous and service-like environment to its customers.    
            Personal Guarantee
            All merchandise in the store is sold with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.   The Market House will either refund the full purchase price or replace the item with another product.  Perishable return items are taken care of by the individual meat, deli, bakery and produce departments.
            Advertising Guarantee
            The Market House guarantees delivery of advertised product.  The store will issue a rain check or substitute an item of equal value to any customer who wants to purchase an advertised special that has run out before the end of the current sale.  Some items are sold on a limited supply and would not qualify for a rain check or substitute.
            Service Policy
            It is also the policy of the Market House to fill all requests for product or special packaging that is not offered in the regular self-service display cases.   We will custom cut or change package sizes for any product to help satisfy our customers’ needs.
            Weights and Measures
            True weight, measures and counts are provided at all times.  This means 16 ounces to the pound or 12 to a dozen.  The founding fathers of the Market House believed that anything less than these standards are not good enough for our valued customers.
            Breakage of Merchandise
            It is the policy of the Market House to absorb the cost of breakage of products by the customer in the store or in the parking lot.  Accidents do happen and we do not expect the customer to pay. 
            Checkout Service
            Every customer is offered a carryout at the end of his or her order.  Carryout personnel are not permitted to solicit tips of any kind—our carryout service is provided “free of charge.”  The Market House accepts first party personal checks with proper ID, Visa, Discover, Master Card and bank debit cards for all customer purchases.
            Donations and Discounts
            The Market House gladly supports its community and will often give donations to charity groups and organizations.  All donations should be requested in writing and submitted to the store manager or owner.
