Blueberries are responsible for keeping us young, healthy and smart!

Blueberries are low-fat, sodium free, and good source of both fiber and vitamin C.  A one-cup serving of fresh blueberries will give you 5 grams of fiber--more than most fruits and vegetables--and 15% of your daily value for vitamin C at a cost of only 80 calories!

Purple Pleasure

3/4 cup plain lowfat yogurt
1/4 cup 1% lowfat milk

Process the fruit, liquid and lfavoring in a blender (for silkiest texture), in a food processor or with immersion blender until smooth.  Add some sweetener if desired.
