Milk Matters
Is milk edged out by sugary sodas and fruit drinks in your family? These nutrient zeros can't stack up to milk’s powerful nutrition package. Make sure milk makes it into the glass. All varieties-including chocolate milk—are full of calcium. Milk is also packed with protein, potassium, vitamin D and other nutrients.

Milk tips for moms

  • Start their day with cereal and MILK.

  • Use MILK instead of water when stirring up a bowl of hot oatmeal or preparing canned soup.

  • Stock the fridge with chocolate MILK for an after-school treat.

  • Put a pitcher of MILK on the table at mealtime.
  • Order a carton of MILK instead of a soft drink at the drive-thru.

Be sure your kids see you drink MILK too!
