The Market House has been
a proud sponsor of the
Michigan Special Olympics for over sixteen years.
| Special Olympics uses organized sports as an opportunity for persons with mental retardation and other closely related developmental disabilities to explore their potential and experience success, achievement and pride. Based on registration information, teams are placed in divisions and athletes competing in individual sports are placed in heats. So, regardless of skill level, Special Olympics athletes compete against others of the same gender, age, and similar ability. That makes competition fair and fun for all. |
